General Philip H. Sheridan was the commander of the United States forces at that time and he had plans of exterminating the buffalo. He thought this would kill the Plains Indians. “Kill the buffalo and you kill the Indians” he said.

  1. What about the over 14 millions farmers and working people the Communists murdered through starvation in Ukraine between 1929 and 1933? Read The Harvest of Sorrow: Soviet Collectivization and the Terror-Famine by Robert Conquest. Also, the Communist Party in China has murdered millions of people. Communism is a terrible idea. Something new is needed.

    • You’re not a very good scholar if you resort to Robert Conquest’s debunked b.s. The famine was, by no means, the fault of the Soviets. In fact, you’re distorting the history of Ukraine and the reality of the famine that took place.

      Fact of the matter is that not even Ukraine blames the Soviets for the famine. Amazing how so many are quick to blame Communism for something when the victims, itself, don’t even resort to such dogmatism:
