This was originally brought to my attention by El Mono on the Immortal Technique forum.
BBC had given an interview to Ken O’Keefe in order to get the side of the story by those within the ship of the Flotilla & their resistance against the Israeli attack by IDF soldiers. Though, after the interview was done, despite the assurance that what was most importantly needing to be aired with the mini documentary on the Flotilla incident, it was then cut for the final version, allowing for Israel’s side of the story to remain intact:
Ken O’Keefe In this short audio recording after the interview Jane Corbin commits to honouring my requirement of the interview which was to use the part where I make clear we had full control of the commandos and we let them go. I had made this part of the agreement to do the interview and was repeating that condition, but she cuts me off. Nonetheless she says it is “important” for Panorama to use this part, and yet they changed it to the Israeli’s effectively escaping from the at least 100 men who surrounded them inside the ship. Blatant lie, BBC stands for British Propaganda Corporation.

Like I had stated on the forum, as much bullshit as the documentary was, if anything, it made me respect those protecting the ship even more. It’s amazing how their [Israeli Commando’s] mindset’s work where they kept trying to reassure that, because they were peace activists, they couldn’t violently defend the ship against an already known violent Israeli force. As they said as well in the documentary, they expected us to just lay there & comply with their orders, in which would’ve led to the Gaza Strip not to have been able to attain their rightfully needed aid. Yes, they had knives, yes, they stole weapons, yes, they threw IDF soldiers over rails. Though, as much as they love to claim they were nothing more than a bunch of terrorists, fact of the matter is that they were only people willing to die for a greater cause.
So to end this, as a message to those who continue to lie about what had truly taken place on the Flotilla ship, fuck the Israeli’s, long live Gaza!
